Dr. Wayland (AAS, BBS, D.Min) and Mrs. Dena founded The Bridge in July 2008 and their ministry has always been about incorporating a great balance of preaching and teaching because they believe that the power of the Word of God is at its best when understood and applicable to the lives of the people.  The Bridge started in a store front building in Kennett, MO and 4 years later (2012) the church had moved into a brand new 25,000 square foot facility situated on 6.5 acres.  Pastor Tom and Mrs. Dena met in college, were married in 1995 and they have three daughters - Rachel, Sarah and Rebecca.
