Committed

This Sunday, we were reminded that delay does not mean denial.

In John 11, Mary and Martha asked Jesus to come heal Lazarus, but Jesus delayed. By the time He arrived, Lazarus had been dead four days.

But Jesus was not late.

He was revealing something greater.

Sometimes God uses the delay to strengthen our faith, minister to our emotions, and reveal His glory.

This week, ask yourself:

Am I still committed when the answer is delayed?
